About Laparoscopic Ovarian Cyst Removal
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs on the ovary. Many disappear on their own, but cysts that are large, persistent, painful or suspicious may need removal. Laparoscopic cystectomy removes the cyst while saving the healthy ovary wherever possible.
We also treat endometriotic cysts (chocolate cysts) as part of endometriosis surgery.
Also known as: Cystectomy, chocolate cyst surgery
