GENERAL MEDICINE

The department of General Medicine [Internal Medicine] is the first department started in AKG Hospital. Here we have facilities to give treatment and care in all fields of internal medicine. We have three experienced senior physicians and they are capable of dealing all cases and their service is available round the clock. We give special care and treatment to diabetes and hypertension. This department deals with all emergency cases in medicine and has well equipped Medical ICCU and a Semi ICU. We have a snake bite department with ventilator and dialysis unit with supervision of nephrologist. Also we deal with all poisoning cases. AKG Hospital is the only hospital dealing with such cases in kannur, and it continues to be the centre of excellence, hope and help for the suffering people with all ailments in and around kannur and other places.
